Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll was dealt another blow during pre season with the news that Mark Wilson will miss the start of the season with a broken toe.

Rovers have already seen a number of players missing valuable time on the pitch during pre season and the latest news is will see Wilson miss around six weeks.

Speaking on the official website, O`Driscoll said, “He has a fracture in his big toe and he is going back to see the specialist in Doncaster. We`d imagine it`s going to be a minimum of six weeks.”

Wilson suffered the injury during training when he kicked the boot of striker Waide Fairhurst.

James O`Connor was also sidelined for Saturday`s game at Solihull after picking up an ankle injury in the warm up.
