Doncaster Rovers midfielder Mark Wilson has agreed a new two year deal with the club.
The 31 year old was out of contract at the end of last season and becomes the fourth player to agree new terms in the past few weeks.
Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll is delighted that the former Manchester United and Middlesbrough player has committed himself to the club although he as explained that he cannot guarantee him a regular place in the side.
Speaking in the Sheffield Star, O`Driscoll said, ‘We told him that we couldn’t guarantee him anything in terms of starting games, but he played a lot of games last season and never let anybody down; he’s someone who you can put your hat on.”
Wilson enjoyed his most successful season in the side last term since joining the club in 2006; he made 38 appearances in all competitions including 35 in the league.
