Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record between Watford and Doncaster Rovers at Vicarage Road over the years.

The two clubs have previously met on nine occasions at Vicarage Road with the home side winning four to Doncaster`s two and three draws.

The first ever meeting between the two sides came during the 1954/55 season when Rovers won an FA Cup tie 2-1.

Rovers won on their first two visits to Vicarage Road with them winning by the same score line during the 1959/60 season.

Watford won the next four encounters with them inflicting some heavy defeat on Rovers. They won 4-1 (66/67), 5-1 (76/77) and 6-0 (77/78).

They have met on three occasions since Rovers returned to the championship in 2008.

All three games have ended in draws. Steve Brooker scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw in the 2008/09 season.

The following season the sides met on the opening day. Danny Graham fired Watford ahead before James Hayter equalised for Rovers with a header from the edge of the area.

When the two sides met last season, they shared the points in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Simon Gillett fired Rovers into a first half lead before two goals from Watford substitute Marvin Sordell fired the home side ahead.
