Doncaster Rovers have offered a trial to striker Rowan Vine from Queens Park Rangers.

Vine has been given permission by the newly promoted Premier League side and he will hope to impress and earn a deal at the Keepmoat.

The 28 year old spent most of last season on loan at Hull City, Brentford and MK Dons scoring just one goal during his time at MK Dons.

Vine cost Rangers £1 million in 2008 but he`s struggled to gain a regular first team at Loftus Road and spent almost a year out after fracturing his tibia and fibula.

Vine will join up with the squad when they return for pre season training on Monday July 4th.
