Doncaster had a number of trialists involved in Tuesday nights pre season friendly win over Grimsby Town.
Known trailists Quentin Fortune, John Oster and Jason Walker once again played their part in the victory with Walker making it two goals in two appearnces whilst on trial from Barrow.
Rovers also had two other trialists involved in the game, one was Byron Webster a 22 year old central defender who has been playing for Czech League side FK Said Most for the past two seasons and Mustafa Dumbaya who is a speedy right back who can also play in midfield.
Mustafa finished last season playing for Grays Athletic and impressed recently in their pre season defeat at the hands of Premiership side West Ham United, he also enjoyed a trial at Gillingham last season.
Webster and Mustafa are to spend a few more days with Rovers and both impressed Rovers assisitant manager Richard O`Kelly during the game, speaking about Mustafa on the official website he said “He`s made an impression here tonight, he looks bright, he looks lively and he will be with us for a couple of days. Tonight`s performance hasn`t done any of his opportunities any harm”.
