Doncaster Rovers striker Andy Williams has suffered another injury blow and he will be out for between three and four months.

The striker suffered an ankle injury in the defeat at Wigan Athletic in midweek and he now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Williams only recently returned to the first team squad after overcoming another ankle injury.

It is the latest blow for the striker who worked hard in the summer to retain his place at the club after manager Darren Ferguson had placed him on the transfer list at the end of last season. Ferguson decided to take Williams off the transfer list after his hard work in pre-season.
