Doncaster Rovers club captain Brian Stock`s recovery from ankle surgery is going well and he`s hoping to be back in action by mid January.

Stock as been an influential player in the Rovers midfield since arriving at the club in 2007, he`s been missed since suffering his ankle injury back in September against West Brom, with Rovers winning just one game out of nine in his absence.

The Welsh international is hoping to be back in training by December, speaking in the Sheffield Star he said ‘My rehab is going really well and physio John Dickens is going to try to step things up a tiny bit,’

The 27 year old has been linked with a number of fellow Championship and Premiership clubs during the summer including Wolves and West Brom.
