Doncaster Rovers manager Darren Ferguson will welcome striker Andy Williams back into his squad for the clash at Southend United on Saturday.
The striker has been sidelined since November with an ankle injury.
The postponement of the game against Bury last weekend has given Ferguson time to get a number of players back to full fitness.
Defenders Joe Wright and Mathieu Baudry returned for the side in their last game against Rotherham United and they have benefitted from an extra weeks training.
Luke McCullough will also return to the squad after missing the trip to Rotherham.
Fellow defender Andy Butler has suffered a minor setback in his return from injury and he is not set to return until the clash against Blackburn Rovers.
Issam Ben Khemis and Alfie Beestin are continuing their recovery from injury and they are closing in on a return although Saturday will be too soon.
Danny Andrew remains on the sidelines with a long-term injury.
Southend boss Chris Powell is still without Rob Kiernan, Ted Smith and John White through injury.
