Danny McDermid will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers travel to promotion chasing Southampton on Saturday.

The Hampshire official has taken charge of just 10 games so far this season, showing 27 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Last season he took charge of 31 games showing 109 yellow cards and 7 reds.

He was in charge of Southampton last season on two occasions. The 4-0 win over Dagenham at home and the 2-1 win at Exeter City.

His last game in charge of Doncaster was back in the 2007/08 season when they were beaten 1-0 at Brighton in a game where he showed 7 yellow cards.
