Doncaster Rovers make the short trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night hoping to keep up their recent return to form.

The Owls last played on Tuesday night when they beat Blackpool 2-0 at home.

Wednesday have seen an upturn in form since the arrival of new manager Alan Irvine and have won five out of his seven games.

Rovers won their first game in six on Saturday when they beat high flying Nottingham Forest 1-0 at home.

Last time out away they earned a point at Leicester City in a 0-0 draw.

History

The two sides have only ever met on seven occasions at Hillsborough with the home side winning six to Doncaster`s one.

Rovers solitary win came in a League cup clash in 1978 when they won 1-0.

When the two sides met last season, Wednesday won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Leon Clarke.
