Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp is amongst the contenders for the PFA Fans Player of the Month for December.

Sharp has only just recently returned to first team action following a hamstring injury in October.

The striker scored within seven minutes of his first start after his injury when he opened the scoring at Leicester City, the 100th goal of his professional career.

Sharp will be hoping to complete a double having won the award in December last season after scoring in four games out of five during the month.
