Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp is hoping that the side can build on Saturday`s win over Crystal Palace.
Sharp came off the bench to make his first appearance since the opening day of the season and he received a temendous ovation from the Rovers fans on his return. Speaking on the official website, Sharp said, “It was special, I know I have a relationship with the fans, and they do help us.”
Rovers scored the only goal of the game thanks to a deflected shot from John Oster and Sharp is now hoping that they can take that win into Tuesday nights game with Hull City at the Keepmoat. “It was a good feeling to win. So we`re happy however it came. Saturday was a scappy win, but we can build on thatin the home game against Hull on Tuesday night, and at the training ground and hopefully get another win on Tuesday,” he continued.
Despite the win on Saturday, Rovers remain rooted to the bottom of the championship, but a win over Hull City on Tuesday night could see them climb out of the bottom three.
