Dean Saunders has been sacked just four months after leaving Doncaster Rovers for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers were relegated on Saturday following their defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion to make it back-to-back relegations.

Saunders took over at Molineux with the side in 18th place in the championship but they finished the season in 23rd place after the side won just five of his twenty games in charge.

Their relegation makes it back-to-back relegations from the championship for Saunders, who was with Doncaster last season as they dropped into the third tier.
