Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has made his first signing of the summer after capturing David Syers from Bradford City.

The midfielder has signed on a two-year deal as Saunders looks to build a squad capable of bouncing straight back up to the championship at the first attempt following their relegation to League One at the end of last season.

The 24 year old made 19 appearances for Bradford last season, scoring two goals.

Syers has made 59 appearances in his two seasons with Bradford after starting his career in non-league football.
