Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders says he is still looking to bring players in and he admits he has ‘irons in the fire.`when it comes to bringing in new players to the club.

Saunders has already brought in Pascal Chimbonda, Herita Ilunga and El Hadji Diouf since his arrival at the club towards the end of September and he still looking to bring in the best players for the club.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Saunders said, “I`ve got irons in the fire, I`m trying to get the best players that I can, I am also getting a lot of knock backs as well. I`m trying to get the best, I can only make sure that if we do get players in, they are better than what we have got and that`s the difficult bit.”

Saunders is now expected to go on a number of scouting missions, with the international break meaning there is no game for two weeks for Doncaster.
