Doncaster travel to Southampton this Saturday in a crucial relegation six pointer hoping to continue with their recent improved league form.

The Saints won last Saturday 1-0 at Barnsley to climb back above Rovers in the table.
Last time at home they lost 3-0 against Manchester United in the FA Cup, last time at home in the league they drew 1-1 with Reading.

Rovers played their first game of 2009 on Tuesday night and drew 0-0 with Cheltenham away from home in the FA Cup.
Rovers are in their best league form of the season having won both their games over Christmas scoring six goals in the process.

Southampton
Jamie White suffered a broken ankle playing for the reserves in midweek after recently being brought back to the club from his loan spell at Shrewsbury.

Adam Lallana is fit again after injury but after the saints victory at Barnsley last weekend he may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Saints are rumoured to be on the verge of signing striker Arturo Lupoli from Fiorentina, although he`s currently on loan at Norwich City, will it be in time for this crucial game?

Rovers suffered no new injuries in the midweek draw with Cheltenham, still missing are long term injured Sean McDaid and James Hayter.

The two clubs have only ever met on seven occasions at Southampton with Doncaster yet to taste a victory on their visits, Southampton have won four and there have been three draws.

They have already played at Doncaster this season when Southampton won 2-0.
