Premiership referee Steve Tanner will be the man in charge of Saturday`s Championship clash between Southampton and Doncaster Rovers at St Mary`s stadium.

Mr Tanner so far this season has refereed 19 games; in those 19 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 55 yellow cards and 4 reds.

His last game in charge was the midweek FA Cup replay between Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

Last season he refereed only 34 games showing 103 yellow cards and 3 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Southampton game was in the 2006/07 season when they drew 0-0 at home against West Brom.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game last season when they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at home.
He refereed two other Rovers games last season, he was in charge of the 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest and also Rovers 1-0 win at Leeds United.
