Tommy Rowe is looking to finish the season amongst the goals after getting back on the goalscoring trail with two goals against Blackpool on Friday.

Rowe scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season in the 2-1 win at Bloomfield Road having scored just once in his previous 18 games.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, who hit 13 goals last season, is now hoping his two goals at Blackpool will kick-start a glut of goals in the final month of the season.

“I haven`t scored for a while,” Rowe told the Doncaster Rovers official website.

“It was good to get it off my back, hopefully, that will continue now.”

Rowe has now scored 25 goals for the club in 101 appearances since initially joining the club on loan from Wolves in March 2016.

The experienced midfielder certainly enjoys the Easter period and his two goals at Blackpool means that he has scored four goals in five games for Doncaster over the Easter period since his arrival.
