Clubs interested in the signing of Doncaster Rovers influential defender Matt Mills have been told to stump up £3 million if they wish prize him away from club.

A number of clubs including new Premiership sides Birmingham City, Wolves and Burnley have shown an interest in the 22 year old this year.

Also reported to be interested in his signature are fellow Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City.

Mills cost Rovers a club record £300,000 last summer and the new price tag issued by Rovers is sure to scare off a few clubs interested in his services.
