Doncaster have completed the signing of Hibernian striker Dean Shiels on a three and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 24 year old had made over 100 appearances for the Scottish Premier League side scoring 24 goals.

The Northern Ireland international started his career at Arsenal but never made a first team appearance for the Gunners.

Shiels is ineligible for Rovers FA Cup replay at Aston Villa in midweek; he will wear the number 16 shirt and will hopefully make his debut at Blackpool at the weekend.
