Doncaster Rovers have signed Preston North End striker Iain Hume on loan.

The 28-year-old striker signs for Rovers on loan until January 1st.

The experienced Canadian international player signs for Rovers after two seasons at Preston, where he has scored 22 goals in 60 appearances.

The striker started his career at Tranmere Rovers, making his competitive debut in 2000. He has also played for Leicester City and Barnsley in a career that has so far seen him make 423 appearances, scoring 102 goals.

Hume is expected to go straight into the Rovers squad for tomorrow`s game at Yeovil Town.
