Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Lamine Diatta.

The former Senegal international has signed for Rovers on a two-month deal and he becomes the latest signing for manager Dean Saunders.

Diatta has spent most of his career in France and he has won the French league title on two occasions with Lyon.

The 36-year-old has already had a very brief spell in English football with Newcastle United in 2008.

Rovers are hoping to gain international clearance so that he can make his debut at Birmingham City on Saturday.

The defender will remain at the Keepmoat until February.
