Doncaster Rovers have completed the loan signing of Tom Anderson from Premier League side Burnley.

The defender has arrived at the Keepmoat on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

The 24-year-old has already spent the first half of the season away from Turf Moor, making 24 appearances for Port Vale in League Two.

Anderson joins Preston defender Andy Boyle in joining the club this week to bolster the defence after injuries to Andy Butler, Mathieu Baudry and Joe Wright in the past three games.

Both Anderson and Boyle will be available for the trip to Portsmouth on Saturday.
