Doncaster Rovers look likely to hold onto their manager Sean O`Driscoll after he was the odds on favourite with the bookmakers for the Burnley job yesterday.

According to reports on Sky Sports News, the Turf Moor club are now going to appoint former Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws after Burnley and Doncaster couldn`t agree on compensation for O`Driscoll.

Yesterday reports suggested that it was a two horse race between O`Driscoll and Laws, with O`Driscoll`s odds as short as 2/7 on at one stage during the day.

With nothing yet formally announced though, watch this space.
