Former Doncaster Rovers midfielder Martin Woods has rejoined the club on a short-term deal.

Rovers released the midfielder in the summer after six-years at the Keepmoat but after failing to find a new following a number of unsuccessful trails, he has signed for the club until January.

Woods recently had a trial with Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone but he has been training with Rovers for the past month.

The 27-year-old is looking to resurrect his career after a struggling with injuries at the Keepmoat Stadium during his stay with Rovers.

He made just 39 appearances in his last three seasons at the Keepmoat as a number of injuries including groin and hip that saw him undergo surgery.
