Doncaster Rovers duo Michael Woods and Sammy Clingan have left the club.

The duo both signed short-term deals with the club in the autumn but failed to gain a regular spot in the side.

Woods, who started out at Chelsea, made just two substitute appearances in the FA Cup.

Experienced Northern Ireland international Clingan, made just nine appearances during his time at the Keepmoat.

He made just one start in League One, with his last appearance for the club coming against his former club Coventry City earlier this month.
