Doncaster Rovers have been boosted by the news that defenders Andy Butler and Andy Boyle have both returned to training and are available for the Easter fixtures.

Butler has been sidelined for two months with a knee injury he sustained at Shrewsbury Town whilst on loan Boyle hasn`t featured since suffering a groin injury at Rotherham United last month.

This good news follows hot on the heels of Issam Ben Khemis and Andy Williams returning to the squad from long-term injuries.

Craig Alcock also returned to the squad recently after injury when he was named amongst the substitutes against Bradford City last time out.

On-loan Burnley defender Tom Anderson and fellow defender Danny Andrew are now the only players in the treatment room.

Anderson recently returned to the Keepmoat Stadium from Burnley after having his fractured cheekbone assessed. Anderson is hoping to be back in action in mid-April, in time for Doncaster`s busy run-in to the season. Doncaster face nine games in the final 42 days of the season as they look to confirm their place in League One next season.

Andrew will not return for Doncaster this season having been sidelined since August with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.
