Doncaster Rovers players and staff reported back for pre season training today (July 6th) ready to build on last seasons fourteenth place finish in their first season back in the second tier of English football in fifty years.

The Rovers players were put through their paces on their first day back starting with a run before doing a ‘beep` test and work in the gymnasium.

The players finished the session with some ball work ahead of their first pre season game which is only two days away at Armthorpe Welfare on July 8th.

After a large number of players missed the end of last season after undergoing operations Rovers were happy to report that only three players missed training on the first day.

Martin Woods, Steve Brooker and Stuart Elliott were the players missing.
