According to a number of reports, Doncaster Rovers are one of four Championship clubs chasing Wolves striker Sam Vokes.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy says that the former Bournemouth hit man can go out on loan when he returns from international duty with Wales this week.

Vokes cannot break his way into the Wolves side in the Premiership and McCarthy is keen for the youngster to get some first team football.

Other clubs reported to be interested are Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Derby County.

Rovers have got a good working relationship with Wolves in recent month`s and already heave defender Jason Shackell on loan from Wolves until January.
