Doncaster Rovers have been rewarded for their win over Hull City in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup with a money-spinning trip to Arsenal in the third round of the competition.

It will be the first time that Doncaster will visit the impressive Emirates Stadium with a capacity of just over 60,000.

The clubs last met in the competition in 2005 when Doncaster were eventually beaten 3-1 on penalties at Belle Vue after the game had finished 2-2 after extra-time.

Doncaster last visited Arsenal at their old Highbury Stadium in 1987 when Arsenal won 1-0 to secure a 4-0 aggregate win.

The tie will take place in the week commencing September 18th.
