Doncaster Rovers travel to Reading on Saturday with both sides currently in the bottom two in the championship table.
Rovers could not be facing worse opposition at the moment as Reading are their bogey side over the years.
Rovers have won on just five occasions in fourty fixtures between the two sides, both home and away.
Since Rovers promotion to the championship in 2008, they have won just one solitary point from six games when they shared the points in a dour 0-0 draw at the Madejski in 2009.
Last season at the Madejski, Rovers managed to let a 3-1 lead slip inside the final half hour, eventually losing 4-3.
Rovers have to go back to the 1984/85 season for their last success at Reading and also the last time they tasted victory against the Royals.
Alan Brown netted a hat trick for Rovers in a 4-1 win at Reading`s old Elm Park ground.
The first ever encounter between the two came at Elm Park in the 1948/49 season when Rovers claimed one of their rare victories in a 3-2 win in the FA Cup Third Round.
Rovers have failed to score in thirteen of their twenty-one visits to Berkshire, netting just eighteen goals in total over the years.
Reading enjoyed their biggest win during the 1973/74 season when they beat Rovers 5-0 in a Fourth Division clash.
