Jason Price is almost ready for first team action after recovering from his ankle operation.
The 31 year old is hoping to get himself into the squad for Saturday`s game against Cardiff City.
Price has been receiving cortisone injections after still feeling discomfort in the ankle last week.
He was due to return to training on Thursday and if he can prove his fitness he could be pushing for a call up to the squad for this weekend.

Summer signing Darren Byfield is still recovering from his hernia operation that he received at the end of July. He`s hoping to return to full training in about a week`s time.
He didn`t manage much pre season work before his injury; the club will probably set him a fitness programme to see how near he is to full fitness.

Sean Mcdaid is still struggling after his horrific knee injury he suffered towards the end of last season. The defender is still suffering with swelling to his knee. The club are awaiting the results from the specialists of his scans.

Gordon Greer is now walking without the aid of crutches after his recent hip operation. He`s started training but with no pre season training its not likely that he will be pushing for a first team recall till late September.
