Rob Lewis will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers travel to Oldham Athletic on Boxing Day.

Lewis has taken charge of 15 games so far this season showing 45 yellow cards and no reds.

His last game in charge of Oldham was when they beat Chesterfield 5-2 at home last season.

This will be the first time he has taken charge of a Doncaster game despite a long career on the National List.

Lewis has worked as both a referee and assistant referee during his long career.

The Shropshire official was running the line and he is probably best remembered for not giving the goal when Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pendro Mendes saw his long-range effort against Manchester United at Old Trafford cross the line back in 2005.

Referee: Rob Lewis (Shrewsbury)
Assistants: Robert Hodges & Bob Roberts
Fourth Official: Gordon Johnson
