Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record between Norwich City and Doncaster Rovers at Carrow Road over the years.

Wednesday will be only the seventh ever meeting between the two sides at Carrow Road. In the previous six games, Norwich have won five and there has been one draw.

The first ever meeting took place during the 1935/36 season when Norwich won a Second Division match 2-1.

Four of Canaries wins have finished 2-1 with the other being 3-0.

The two sides have met in recent seasons. In the 2008/09 season, Brian Stock fired Rovers ahead from the penalty spot in the 77th minute.

Norwich stunned Rovers with two goals in the final seven minutes through Anton Sibierski and Leroy Lita, the winner coming with almost the last kick of the ball.

They met again the following season in February, with Norwich heading towards the Premier League, whilst Rovers were enduring a horrendous injury list that saw them down to the bare bones and almost request to the Football League that the game should be called off.

Despite this, Rovers battled back to earn a point thanks to a late own goal from Adam Drury after Grant Holt had given Norwich a first half lead.
