Doncaster Rovers defender Adam Lockwood has agreed a new deal with the club.
Lockwood has been with Rovers since 2006, was out of contract and as put pen to paper on a two year deal.
The former club captain has struggled with injuries since the clubs promotion to the Championship in 2008 and he missed most of last season with a broken bone in his foot.
The 28 year old is delighted to sign the new contract, speaking on the official website he said, “I`m pleased to have signed my new deal because I have enjoyed my time here.
In his four years with the club, he`s made 120 appearances and is a popular player amongst the fans.
Lockwood becomes the second out of contract player in two days to agree a new deal after veteran keeper Neil Sullivan signed a new one-year deal on Wednesday.
