Doncaster Rovers travel to Leicester City on Saturday having not been the most frequent of opponents over the years.

Last season the two sides clashed in the Championship and it was the first time they had met in over 50 years.

The two sides clashed twice within the space of two weeks in February.

They met at the Walkers Stadium on the 9th February and shared a goalless draw before a solitary Martyn Waghorn goal was enough for Leicester to claim all three points at the Keepmoat 14 days later.

They have met on 13 previous occasions at Leicester with them having by far the better record.

Leicester have won 11, drawn 1 and lost 1, Rovers only ever victory coming at Filbert Street in 1902 when they won 1-0.

Rovers heaviest defeat came during the 1936/37 season when they were beaten 7-1.
