The League One picture for next season is now complete for Doncaster Rovers following the weekend play offs at Wembley.

Rovers will face a South Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United after the blades were defeated 8-7 on penalties, after their game with Huddersfield Town finished 0-0 after extra-time in the League One play-off final.

Crewe Alexandra have also joined Rovers in League One after defeating Cheltenham Town 2-0 in the League Two final.

The League One season will kick off on Saturday August 18th, although Rovers will be in Carling Cup again in the midweek prior to the season starting, along with all clubs in League One and Two and those that finished in the bottom half of the championship last season.

The fixtures for the 2012/13 season will be announced at 9am on Monday June 18th.
