The Football League have announced key dates for the 2014/15 season.

The league season in all three divisions of the Football League will kick off on Saturday August 9th.

Teams will face two games in the space of three days over the festive period with games on Boxing Day (December 26th) and two days later on Saturday December 28th.

The final games of the season will take place on Saturday May 2nd.

They have also announced dates for the Capital One League Cup with first round ties taking place in week commencing August 11th.
