Young Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Gary Woods has signed a new deal with the club.

The 20 year old has signed a new two-year deal with the club keeping him at the Keepmoat until the summer of 2013.

Woods arrived at the Keepmoat in March 2009 in a one-year deal after being released by Manchester United.

Despite not starting a game in his first year, Rovers rewarded the keeper a new one year deal in the summer of 2010.

Woods finally got his chance between the sticks this season after an injury to regular goalkeeper Neil Sullivan.

The England under 18 international has now made ten starts for the club; he retained his place in the starting line up following the return to full fitness of Sullivan, in Rovers last game with Queens Park Rangers
