There will be a pitch inspection at 10am this morning at the Keepmoat ahead of the game with Leyton Orient this afternoon.

The staff at Doncaster Rovers have been working hard throughout the night to try to ensure the game will go ahead.

Snow fell during the night and groundsman Andy Thompson and his team worked throughout the night clearing snow off the covers that have been protecting the pitch since Tuesday.

The club asked for volunteers yesterday to help clear the pitch and surrounding areas and the staff are currently hard at work on the outside of the Keepmoat stadium.

Rovers will be desperate for the game to go ahead with the game next weekend at MK Dons already being called off due to MK Dons participation in the FA Cup.

Whatever the outcome, the club and the ground staff deserve great credit for all the hard work they have been doing to get the game on.
