Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has reported that the injury list is final down to just three players.
Rovers have had a horrendous run with injuries since the start of 2011. At one stage last season, Rovers had fourteen players on the treatment table. Since Saunders arrived in September, that figure has been beaten with sixteen players out at one time.
Saunders is now delighted that the figure is down to just three players.
Neil Sullivan (thumb), George Friend (knee) and James Coppinger (cheekbone) are the only three players currently on the treatment table, with all three at least one month away from a return to training.
Sullivan is still in plaster following an operation on his thumb and is considered a doubt to return before the end of the season.
Friend required surgery on a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained against Barnsley on January 2nd.
The defender is hoping to be back in training in early March.
Coppinger suffered a fractured cheekbone in the game at Bristol City on January 21st and he is still around six weeks away from a return to training.
Saunders has seen long term injured, James Chambers, Paul Keegan, Rachid Bouhenna, Martin Woods, John Oster, Chris Brown and Pascal Chimbonda return to either first team action or training since the turn of the year.
