Doncaster Rovers have been dealt another defensive blow with the news that Mathieu Baudry faces up to three months on the sidelines.

Baudry pulled up ahead of the game with Armthorpe Welfare in midweek and he has now found out that he has suffered a stress fracture of the heel.

It is the second summer in a row that the defender has suffered an injury in pre-season ruling him out of the opening months of the season.

Baudry had only undergone surgery on his Achilles at the end of last season but he had made a quicker than expected return to full fitness until pulling out of the game against Armthorpe.

He joins fellow defender Luke McCullough on the sidelines for the opening months of the season after the Northern Ireland international suffered a knee injury.
