Premier League referee Mark Halsey will take charge of the League One clash between Coventry City and Doncaster Rovers on Friday.
The Lancashire official has taken charge of 25 games so far this season showing 57 yellow cards and 3 reds.
In his last game in charge, Halsey was the centre of attention after he failed to send off Wigan Athletic player Callum McManaman for a challenge of Newcastle player Massaido Haidara, which saw him end up in hospital.
The last time he took charge of Coventry was at the end of the 2009/10 season when they were beaten 4-0 at home by Watford.
His last games in charge of Doncaster were the 2-2 draw at Barnsley and the 6-0 home defeat to Ipswich Town in the 2010/11 season.
Halsey was the first referee to take charge of a game at the Keepmoat Stadium on January 1st 2007. Rovers beat Huddersfield Town 3-0 in a game where he sent off three players including Rovers defender Gareth Roberts.
Referee: Mark Halsey (Lancashire)
Assistants: Lee Betts & Matthew Wilkes
Fourth Official: Carl Berry
