Doncaster Rovers defender James Husband is on the verge of signing for Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old, who excelled in the championship last season for Rovers, is expected to complete the switch to the Riverside on Monday.

The deal could also see 22-year-old Middlesbrough striker Curtis Main join Rovers.

Main made 25 appearances for Middlesbrough last season scoring just one goal and he also had a short spell on loan with Shrewsbury Town where he failed to score in six appearances.
