Doncaster Rovers forward Lewis Guy has joined League One side Hartlepool United on a month`s loan.

Guy has struggled to get into the starting eleven over the last few month`s and with Paul Heffernan scoring the goals and new signings Dean Shiels and Steve Brooker to come in his chances are limited.

Guy will be remember this season for being the first Rovers scorer in the second flight of English football for 50 years when he scored the winner on the opening day of the season at Derby County.
