The Grimsby Town official website has confirmed that Doncaster Rovers will be travelling to face the Mariners in a pre season friendly on Friday July 29th.

This follows the Mansfield Town official website announcing last week that Rovers will travel to Field Mill for a friendly on Tuesday July 19th.

The Carlisle United official website announced a few weeks ago that Rovers would be travelling to Brunton Park for a benefit match for Sean McDaid on Saturday July 23rd.

Last week the Doncaster Star reported that Rovers would be travelling to Armthorpe Welfare for their opening pre season game on Wednesday July 6th and the Doncaster Free Press claimed that Rovers would be travelling for a friendly at Sheffield United on the same night as the friendly at Grimsby.

Doncaster Rovers have yet to announce any pre season friendlies ahead of the new season.
