Gordon Greer who was released by Doncaster Rovers last week has agreed to join Swindon Town on a two year contract.

Greer signed for Rovers in 2007 but suffered a long term hip injury that once fit again restricted his chances at the club.

The 28 year old enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Wiltshire club helping them avoid relegation in the second half of the season.

He soon became a fans favourite and was made captain during his time on loan.
