Rovers injury plagued defender Gordon Greer has joined League One side Swindon Town on an initial one month loan deal.

Greer missed the whole of 2008 after firstly suffering a wrist injury, he then required hip surgery which kept him out for ten month`s, then just when he was close to a first team call up he suffered a groin injury which has kept him out since November.

The 28 year old joined Rovers from Kilmarnock in 2007 and he made 17 appearances at the start of Rovers promotion season before the injuries started.
