Doncaster Rovers have handed a new deal to forward Will Longbottom.

The 19-year-old has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal keeping him at the Keepmoat Stadium until the summer of 2020.

Longbottom has been in or around the first team squad since making his debut on the final day of the 2015/16 season.

The forward featured seven times last season and he scored his first senior goal in the Checkatrade Trophy clash against the Derby County development squad.

This season he has made just one appearance for Doncaster and he had a brief loan spell at non-league side Kidderminster Harriers, where he scored once in five appearances, before an ankle injury forced an early return to the Keepmoat.
