According to reports coming out of London, Brentford midfielder Harry Forrester is training with Doncaster Rovers.

The Hounslow Chronicle is reporting that the attacking midfielder has been given permission to train with Rovers during pre-season with a view to a permanent move.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at Griffin Park on Sunday but Rovers will still be forced to pay the West London club compensation due to his age.

Forrester started his career at Aston Villa but he was released without making a senior appearance for the club.

He enjoyed a brief loan spell at Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock and he had trials with Dutch giants Ajax before decided on a move to Brentford in 2011.

Forrester made 49 appearances for Brentford last season, scoring 11 goals as they fell at the last hurdle in the League One play-off final.

A number of championship clubs have been reported to be interested in signing Forrester this summer with both Ipswich Town and Leeds United being mentioned recently.
